the L word

stumbled upon this gem over a random pinterest sweep! i had to steal the photo because it's my blog title! i got so excited.

today's topic: the L word. LOVE.

so this past week has shown me that love isn't about getting exactly what you want when you want it. it's very cliche but... 

love is patient; love is kind. love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. it does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. it hears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. love never ends. 

1 corinthians 13: 4-8

bless it. my heart is in such joyous pain. it hurts i'm so happy. weird? it's so true. love is patient. it must be patient...and kind...it hears all, believes all, hopes all, endures all...it never ends. i love love love this verse. it means so much to me right now.

my aunt, who is one of my biggest inspirations, said to me tonight:

"love comes from the soul, not the heart. when you find love, true love, that's how you know. nothing can replace it within your soul."

it's amazing the people God puts into my life to show me the ways. to remind me that through Him everything is possible.

love your person. be patient. remember love never ends.
