hello hello hello!
it has been quite some time since I've been into this blogging business.
mini update: I've got this guy in my life who, I must be totally honest...makes me the happiest girl in the world. hands down. so anyways, said boyfriend is moving to PITTSBURGH, PA. now for those of you who do not know, we are from Columbia...SOUTH CAROLINA. that's approximately: 591 miles, 9 hours 16 minutes by car, and 3 hours 5 minutes by plane away from the love of my life. now...I know that some people are even further and that it "really isn't so bad" but for me it's a big change and a big deal. see, we took a small break and by the time I got him back, he's leaving for PA. I just got him back and I am not ready to give him up to a new a state. BUT it is such an amazing opportunity for him that he'd be so crazy to turn it down. so 9 months of long, long weeks that turn into long, long months I shall endure.
now, the rest of my blog will make sense.
while he is gone, my goal is to be occupied with work, friends, and plenty of hobbies. what greater hobby than my love for blogging!? so I have researched a few "blog challenges" to conquer my quest of having a blog a day, something to keep my mind off of the distance and busy, busy! I've chosen this 30 day blog challenge for the month of August. with these posts, I'll probably have other tangents I come across during the days.
may I present to you the challenge:
today is day 1, obviously.
selfie & the story of my day.

the story of my day:
today was GREAT! I came to Chapin (home home) from my current home, Anderson and spent the afternoon with my mom and dad at the grocery store. then I went to my really, really good friend's apartment to work on stuff for my man while she worked on stuff for her classroom. we also watched Heaven is Real!
let me tell ya about this project I'm doing for Mark because there WILL BE blog posts about it :) don't worry. since he is moving, I'm making "open when..." letters for different moods/days he may be having. I'm working on SO SO SO many projects for him I can't even wait. that's part of what is making this transition a bit easier because I look forward to being able to surprise him and put a smile on his face even though I'm 500+ miles away from him. I will post about that project tomorrow along with my day 2 challenge. so come back tomorrow!
peace love & sunflowers
✌️💛🌻
oh, PS...this is my man:
I know, blessed, right?
