before bed I always have Pandora playing Christian Contemporary radio. it gives me a calm feeling before I go to sleep. anyways, this song "Center Of It" by Chris August really hit me tonight.
we've all had doubts, feeling as though we can't win, or today just isn't our day, we can't get this right. we all feel like we're not good enough sometimes whether it be with our person, friends, work, family, school, whatever...we all have that insecure feeling sometimes or have had that feeling. God winks in my life all day, every day. it is a little mind blowing how crazy His timing is sometimes. tonight I was in the process of talking to a friend and telling her how sometimes, I just don't feel good enough. no matter what I'm doing, I just don't feel like it's enough for some people, sometimes. and what song comes on my Pandora radio but that song, "Center Of It." He can always play me a song right when I need it! never fails. if you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it. it's a good one.

anyways, I'm listening to this song. hanging on to every word. it made me realize that no matter what is happening...He is there. He is there through it all. He is the center of it. through our ups and our downs...when we rise and when we fall. He is there. it put such a smile on my face because I was reminded by the words of this song how He will be there through it all. when you're happy, when you're hurting. in the morning and at night. He is there and He will get you through all those feelings.
the kicker? we have to LET Him.
remembering He is my center brings me such peace. now, there will be days that I forget and have to remind myself not to worry, not to fear...but guess what? He's got this. He's got me. and He's got you.
